A labyrinth is not a maze. There are no tricks, no dead ends, and no right or wrong way to do it. There is a single winding path that leads you to the centre and then back out again. Labyrinth walking is an ancient practice, found across cultures and centuries — in Greek and Roman patterns, Indigenous traditions, medieval cathedrals, and contemporary public spaces. Walking a labyrinth invites you to slow your body so your mind can catch up. You don’t need to be spiritual, athletic, or “good at meditating” to walk a labyrinth. You can bring a question, a worry, a hope…
