Baptism

Baptism is a joyful beginning — a sign of God’s love and a way of being welcomed into the Christian community. In baptism, we are marked as beloved by God and invited to grow in faith, hope, and love. Whether for a child, a youth, or an adult, baptism is about belonging, blessing, and beginning a life-long journey with Christ and the Church.

If you are interested in baptism for yourself or your child, please contact the Reverend Karen McBride to begin the conversation.

At Julian of Norwich, we are honoured to walk with individuals and families as they prepare for this important step.

Our Bishop presides at Confirmation services. Preparation sessions are offered as needed. Please contact the parish office at 613-224-7178 or email Reverend Karen McBride for more information.

Funerals

“Funerals … belong to the circle of family and friends of the person who has died and, when that circle is Christian, they find an appropriate setting in the larger Christian fellowship.” (Book of Alternative Services - BAS 567)

May the souls of the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace and rise in glory.
